I tend to do that when I'm angry. Sorry -.- and thank you for your support. So, onto the updates! Except there aren't really any, other than the new layout and the glorious animated icon you see above. I've mainly been working just on the actually text content of Hari, including but not limited to an affiliates detail page that is actually up to date! WHOOOOOA! One may also notice two new links added to the navigation, and then you may have noticed that they are not quite clickable yet. Yes, sorry. Coming soon? Also, my time has been consumed with x.Junkyard. I got an affiliation request from someone complimenting my "stunning graphics" and then a few days later, before I reply, she sends another e-mail stating that if she requested to be my affiliate (obviously my graphics weren't stunning enough for her to remember applying for affiliation with me) she would like to withdraw that request, because she only wants a few affiliates (in other words, something better came along in the spot I may have accepted) but she would love to be my friend c: I was insulted at first, but now I just find it absolutely hilarious. Do you know what the worst part about owning a premade graphic website is? For each person its different, but for me it is probably this: People assume that since it is made for public use, it is theirs to claim. I've had people take my premade icons and claim them as their own, and I've even had people take whole layouts, edit out my credit link, and say that they made it. This case is slightly different. I just saw a few minutes ago, someone took a premade layout, this one in particular, changed the colors and inserted their own images and content, and gave a pathetic link back to me in their introductory paragraph. I'm too pissed off right now to care about anything other than ranting, so I'm sorry if I sound harsh/bitchy/whatever. So, what's the problem if they provided a link back? Here is the screenshot. Well, there are a few problems. First of all, I was never fucking asked. Anyone with a decent amount of courtesy would have made even the smallest effort to e-mail me and ask for permission to edit the coding that took ME a few good hours to construct. Second, there is this. It looks remarkably similar, yes? Its by the same person, who didn't even bother putting in a pathetic link like in the first example. Third, obviously this is someone who knows enough about coding to edit mine, so why not just make your own fucking code? After a bit of thinking, I realized what this is. Laziness. Why make your own code when someone has already made code? What does it matter if you take it - its just a premade. And why bother dropping me an e-mail asking if you can edit it? Because in the amount of time it could have taken me to respond, you could have just made your own layout, am I right? Its far easier to just take the code and pretend you give a shit about it by linking me back in your fucking introduction. I suppose its my fault for not making it clear in my Terms of Service that I don't want my code edited. Its my fault because I made simple, easy rules so my users wont be overwhelmed by all of the fucking rules. Sorry, but there is now a 6th rule in my TOS. I'm fucking sick of this shit. TOTALLY not updating when I should be writing my novel (as this month is Nanowrimo :D). To answer a few of the questions from my last update; from Yunri about Tables ID #21 (the Hana Kimi one) the header does not blend into the background on every resolution. Its hard to get it to do so when the layout is centered. To all that wished me good luck on my road test - thanks! I won! Er, I passed and got my license yeeyz :D Aaaand Alli, yes that is Yamamoto Yusuke. He's such a cutie :D I WANT HIS FL. Here's what's been added: - One new DIV layout, ID #24 - Another new DIV layout, ID #25 - Eight new music icons - Ten new actor icons Oh, right, I forgot to mention Hari's new layout :D As if you hadn't noticed, frequent visitors (all four of you?). It is smaller than the previous one, less overwhelming, with more clam colors and lots of different stuff. I am totally amazing am such a procrastinator was beginning to get tired of looking at the other one. The new premade layouts were designed using the same style, a style developed for my domain's linkage page that I liked a lot. Its also a style that many premades are not available in (a sort of cleaner style). It was a new experiment for me, and it was really really fun. All three layouts came out with satisfaction on my part. Its very rare. I'm thinking next I need to make some new wallpapers O.o What do you think? The end :D See you guys next update! Hi everyone! I'm sorry about the random 2 months of not updating. I didn't expect it either. It turns out that being a senior in high school is a lot busier than I thought it would be (I expected to have a severe case of senior-itis). And I go for my road test soon, so wish me luck! I failed once before for an accumulation of small mistakes (since I aced parallel parking and k-turning). Anyway... I haven't been able to make a big batch of content to make up for my two months dead, but... Here's what's been added: - One new DIV layout, ID #22 - Another new DIV layout, ID #23 - One new & huuuge tables layout, ID #21 - Four new music icons - Ten new actor icons Unfortunately, somewhere in the two months between this update and the last, Sakuya closed down CUT, her PNG archive, with which I was affiliated T.T However, please welcome Autistic Fidelity and Neogrotesque to my affiliates! Due to a request from Ariel, I have "organized" my layouts to show newest to oldest... sort of. I basically just linked to the newest page of layouts in the navigation, so the new layouts are still at the bottom of the page, but the link in the navigation will take you to the page with the newest layout. Because I too, am extremely lazy :D The icons are also linked like this now. Hi everyone! Welcome to the grand re-opening of Harienju! I've been working for quite a loooong time on the new Hari, and I've replaced a few of the old layouts with new ones in the same place, with the same title, and not necessarily the same style.
